Starting Michigan OL pleads not guilty to OWI

Michigan offensive lineman Graham Glasgow entered a not guilty plea Monday on drunk driving charges that were brought against him this spring. His attorney requested a two-week adjournment for a “housekeeping matter,” so he’ll have his hearing June 16 (read the Free Press article for more on the restrictions placed on Glasgow over the next two weeks).

An incident occurred March 15 that led to an OWI arrest for Glasgow, Michigan’s top returning offensive lineman. The redshirt junior started nine games at center for Michigan last year and was named to the Academic All-Big Ten team.

Michigan coach Brady Hoke suspended Glasgow for his team’s opener against Appalachian State, though if he’s successful in contesting the charge perhaps that suspension could be overturned.
