Report: Cal WR to become a walk-on Beaver TE

Jacob Wark‘s career at Cal may be finished, but his time in the Pac-12 will apparently continue.

Citing a source with knowledge of the situation, Gina Mizell of The Oregonian is reporting that Wark is in the process of finalizing paperwork that would result in him becoming a member of the Oregon State football team. Mizell writes that “Wark is already listed in OSU’s online directory.”

As Wark has already graduated from the school in Berkeley, he will be eligible immediately at his new school in Corvallis. Wark won’t take up a scholarship, either, as he will be a walk-on for the Beavers.

The 6-4, 250-pound redshirt senior will also be a tight end at OSU after being a wide receiver at Cal.

During his time with the Golden Bears, Wark started seven of the 37 games in which he played. He totaled 10 receptions for 87 yards and a touchdown the past three years.
