Ok. St. football player reportedly stabbed, robbed, abducted

It has not been a good day for the Oklahoma State football program.

Literally minutes after reports surfaced that incoming freshman Devon Thomas, already facing five felonies, had been charged as a juvenile with distribution of child pornography, yet another disturbing report out of Stillwater went public.

According to tweet from Michael Seiden of KOCO-TV, an unnamed OSU football player was stabbed, robbed and abducted at some point Monday night. No arrests have been made, and the Stillwater police department is declining to release any details of the incident.

The Oklahoman, though, wrote that "[t]he alleged victim is a 21-year-old male who claims to have been stabbed, pulled into a green pickup truck, robbed and later pushed out of the vehicle.”

No arrests have been made.

OSU officials are declining to comment on the development as it’s an ongoing investigation. In a bit of good news, however, they did allow that the player who was the alleged victim was treated and released from a local hospital.

Obviously we’ll have more on this situation as events warrant.

UPDATED 6:52 p.m. ET: Tulsa World is reporting that the OSU player in question is Cameron Hunter. The wide receiver was expected to be an Air Force appointment coming out of high school in 2011 but ultimately ended up in Stillwater.
