Just a few days after the reports surfaced, Oregon State has officially added an in-conference transfer.
In a press release, OSU confirmed that Jacob Wark has joined the Beavers football team as a transfer from Cal. As Wark has already graduated from the school in Berkeley, he will be eligible immediately at his new school in Corvallis. Wark won’t take up a scholarship, either, as he will be a walk-on for the Beavers.
The 6-4, 250-pound redshirt senior will also be a tight end at OSU after being a wide receiver at Cal.
During his time with the Golden Bears, Wark started seven of the 37 games in which he played. He totaled 10 receptions for 87 yards and a touchdown the past three years.
