Now that he’s found himself in Paul Johnson‘s doghouse, it appears Jimmie Kitchen‘s way out of it is to leave campus.
According to the Atlanta Journal-Constitution, the defensive tackle has been indefinitely suspended by the Yellow Jackets. No reason was given for the suspension, although the Journal-Constitution did report that it’s “not believed to be due to a legal offense or failed drug test.”
Because of the suspension, Kitchen is expected to transfer from Tech.
Kitchen was a two-star member of the Yellow Jackets’ 2011 recruiting class coming out of high school in Lithonia, Ga. The lineman’s played 11 games total the past two seasons, including eight in 2013.
On his official bio page, it was written that he’s “a key part of the defensive line rotation.)
