Águia Guerra: Auburn flag shows up at World Cup match

Auburn logo

Kudos to the guy who brought this to Monday’s Mexico-Croatia match in Brazil. Quick! Someone bring an Alabama flag to today’s Ivory Coast-Japan match!

(That’s “War Eagle” translated into Portuguese in the headline, FYI.)

Maybe Auburn’s doing some scouting down at the World Cup. Guillermo Ochoa seems like he’d be a pretty great free safety.

Must be a state thing. Brazil’s team was selling “We Want Bama” T shirts at the World cup. There was also a “We Want Bama” sign in the audience.

Here’s the link to the shirt: http://www.sportstalkflorida.com/brazil-gets-confident-sells-want-bama-shirts/
