Alabama players got early look at new Transformers movie

Transformers Bumblebee

Alabama head coach Nick Saban has made it a bit of a habit to treat his players to a sneak peek at a blockbuster film before it hits theaters. On Monday he struck again by surprising his players with an early look at Transformers: Age of Extinction,” starring Mark Wahlberg. The movie will be released in theaters on Friday, and the early reviews from Crimson Tide players-turned movie critics are positive.

Hard to believe this will be the fourth Transformers movie since the franchise was given new life. The Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles will be revived later this summer, and that might make for a perfect treat for Maryland players before the 2014 season starts.

The question that should be answered is whether or not Saban is more of a supporter of the Autobots or the Decepticons. And which Transformer would be Saban’s favorite? Feel free to take to that topic in the comments if you so desire.

How long before the NCAA suspends all these guys for ruining the integrity of college athletics?

One thing is for sure, 98% of all media outlets will report more often and more favorably for one side than the other,- Autobot or Decepticon (the latter is more logical I suppose) – regardless of how transparent their collectivism is of how hypocritical their claims that it is not so.

Any group can submit a request to be treated to a “sneek preview”. Movie production companies take the request into consideration and if the group meets marketing requirements such as size of group, cost of special viewing site, etc., often they choose a group to view so they have some idea of how well the movie will do at the box office.

I’m shocked that this group of haters from Auburn and other such fan bases has to have this explained to them…

    Hate on!!

Did they receive a action toy and coloring book for their home work assignment?
