Report: Buckeyes’ Tracy Sprinkle arrested after bar brouhaha, suspended

Apparently, one member of the Ohio State football program had too good of a time over the course of the holiday yesterday.

According to a report from ElevenWarriors.com, Buckeyes defensive lineman Tracy Sprinkle was arrested Friday and charged following an altercation at a local drinking establishment. What the specific charge is the lineman will be facing and what actually led to the arrest are unclear at this point in time.

What is clear, though, is that, per the website, Sprinkle has been indefinitely suspended by the football program. For what it’s worth, the athletic department has yet to publicly announce any type of punitive measures the player may be facing.

A three-star member of OSU’s 2013 recruiting class, Sprinkle was rated as the No. 24 strongside defensive end in the country. After enrolling at the school early, Sprinkle took a redshirt his true freshman season.
