The force is strong with Georgia’s Chris Conley

There are far too many Star Wars fan films to count, but how many were directed by a college football player? We know of at least one, thanks to Georgia wide receiver Chris Conley.

Conley has released the final cut of a 26-minute fan film mixing the world of Georgia football with the Star Wars universe. Jedi knights sneaking around Sanford Stadium, a Sith lord dropping in on the rescue mission at the 50-yard line, flanked by Storm Troopers, and may of the classic Star Wars features such as light sabres can all be found in the film, which has been a work in progress for some time now. Watch closely and you will see cameos by an unsuspecting head coach Mark Richt and a seemingly superhuman running back Todd Gurley.

As with all Star Wars content now not having appeared on the big screen, this is obviously non-cannon. You can watch the full feature here or on YouTube.
