Germany blasted host nation Brazil in a World Cup semifinal, 7-1. The match quickly, with the Germans sprinting out to a 5-0 lead before the half. Of course, in a lopsided international match-up like this, not involving the United State, one of the best ways to enjoy the rout is to follow Twitter’s snark and commentary. This also happens to be one of the best ways to enjoy college football, so naturally some of college football’s finest Twitter users were on the mark this afternoon as Brazil was sinking.
