No. 1 2015 RB has fave five, including Tide, Buckeyes, A&M

In January, Damien Harris decommitted from Michigan shortly after the firing of offensive coordinator Al Borges.

Nearly seven months later, one of the top players in the Class of 2015 has released a list of his Top Five school -- and the Wolverines didn’t make the cut. Even more discouraging for UM? Its hated rival did.

On Twitter Saturday, the Kentucky high school product revealed that Alabama, Florida, Kentucky, Ohio State and Texas A&M are, at least for the moment, his five top choices. There is no public front-runner as Harris made sure to note that he was listing the schools in alphabetical order.

Just yesterday, Harris revealed, again via Twitter, that he had received a scholarship offer from A&M.

In June, Florida State, Oregon and, yes, Michigan were on his list of possibilities before being eliminated in the latest cut.

Harris had originally committed to UM in July of 2013. Both Harris and his high school coach, Jon Clark, who was on the staff at Auburn when Borges was with the Tigers, were taken aback by the development, which was likely the impetus for the move to decommit.

Harris is a five-star recruit according to all of the major recruiting services, rated by Rivals.com as the No. 1 running back and the No. 4 player at any position in the country.
