Bielema says top prep QB will enroll in January

Bret Bielema

The possible future quarterback for the Arkansas Razorbacks will enroll in classes in January, according to head coach Bret Bielema. Bielema said Ty Storey has signed paperwork for a financial aid agreement with Arkansas and the plan is to enroll in January, which would make him available for spring practices in 2015.

Storey is a four-star quarterback recruit in the Class of 2015 according to Rivals. He is also the top-rated recruit overall in the state of Arkansas and the fifth-ranked pro-style quarterback in the nation. There has never been much doubt about where Storey would end up. He committed to the Razorbacks in June 2013, so he has had his sights locked in on being a Razorback for some time since Bielema was introduced as head coach.

Arkansas did sign another four-star quarterback in the recent recruiting class of 2014 with Rafe Peavey, so Arkansas could be in the early stages of establishing some quarterback depth.

Well this idea worked once in Russell Wilson, but failed miserably in Danny OBrien. Doubt it will work again. Not in the Sec, when he has no team otherwise. Some times it works, but only when you have a team.

What the hell are you talking about? Wilson and O’Brien transfered, Storey is a 4- star recruit! Big difference…you think?

Your right man. My bad. To much vodka last nights. Maybe I just didn’t think a top recruit would want to play at Arkansas.

Good news. I think we are going to have another long year – but will see definitive improvements. We have to keep building – win some games we shouldn’t and stop losing the close ones. No one has hate the last two years more then me, but I understand this is a process.
