Don’t mess with the classics.
It’s a cliche that falls on deaf ears when it comes to college football and uniform changes.
The Michigan Wolverines have dabbled with alternate uniforms in the past (remember THESE?), but the program decided it needed a new version for its Oct. 11 meeting with the Penn State Nittany Lions.
The team unveiled its new “Under the Lights” alternate uniforms Friday night. Take a look...We say it. We live it. Now, we wear it. #GoBlue pic.twitter.com/7Jff9jrKHi
— Michigan Football (@umichfootball) August 9, 2014Whether Michigan fans or cranky sportswriters actually like these new uniforms is completely inconsequential. It’s all about the team, its players and potential recruits. And by the looks of it, Michigan’s players absolutely love the new threads...
