Chips add another B1G transfer, this one an ex-Hoosier

For the second time in roughly a month, a former Big Ten player has made a directional Michigan school his new football home.

Central Michigan announced Saturday that Matt Zakrzewski has transferred into the Chips football program. Zakrzewski had spent the past four seasons at Indiana.

As Zakrzewski is a graduate transfer, making him eligible to play immediately in 2014.

Zakrzewski played in 24 games the past three years, including 11 in 2013. He moved from linebacker to fullback in spring practice in 2011.

In early July, CMU announced that running back Thomas Rawls had transferred in from Michigan. Like Zakrzewski, Rawls will be eligible to play in 2014 as a grad transfer.
