Following a pair of incidents the past few months, Western Kentucky has seen one of its running backs leave the football program.
According to WKU, Travis Lock has decided to take his leave of the Hilltoppers. The school claimed that Lock left for personal reasons unrelated to the two off-field incidents.
In late March, the Bowling Green Daily News is reporting, Lock was charged with second-degree indecent exposure, second-degree fleeing or evading police, alcohol intoxication in a public place and resisting arrest. He served three separate two-day stints in a local jail, costing him a couple of days of practice this summer camp.
A month after the first incident, he was cited for shoplifting.
Neither of those incidents had previously been reported.
Lock was a three-star member of WKU’s 2014 recruiting class after spending 2013 at the JUCO level. Prior to signing with the Conference USA program, Lock held offers from, among others, Arizona State and Illinois.
