UCLA wide receiver Devin Lucien suffered an apparent head or neck injury Tuesday night at practice.

Ryan Kartje of the Orange County Register was at UCLA’s practice and detailed what happened to Lucien.

UCLA WR Devin Lucien left practice in an ambulance, was taken out on a stretcher. Suffered a head injury, but no word on severity.

Mora said he hit his head on the ground. No idea if Lucien lost consciousness. Said they’re praying for the best. Could be serious.

Lucien is being treated by Dr. John DiFiori, who Mora said is one of the best for head injuries. Very tough situation.

During his sophomore campaign, Lucien caught 19 passes for 339 yards and two touchdowns. He was projected to be one of the Bruins’ starting wide receivers this fall.

In a case like this, all we can do is wait. We, here at CFT, wish Devin the best and hope for a quick recovery.
