BYU’s Mendenhall the latest to accept the ice bucket challenge

The ice bucket challenge to raise awareness, and hopefully a good amount of money, to fight ALS continues to spread around the nation and the college football world. One of the latest coaches in the college football world to accept the challenge is BYU head coach Bronco Mendenhall.

Mendenhall was not content to be doused by one bucket of ice and water though. Instead, after issuing a challenge to a lengthy list of members of the sports media, Mendenhall had his players dump one cooler of ice water on him, then another, and then fell back into a pool of ice water for good measure. Now that is stepping up to the challenge.

Some of the other coaches to recently partake in the viral challenge include Boston College head coach Steve Addazio, Virginia Tech head coach Frank Beamer, Virginia head coach Mike London, Maryland head coach Randy Edsall and USC head coach Steve Sarkisian. Who will be next?
