Sumlin to Aggies: Let’s all go to the movies

Kevin Sumlin

Every coach knows when his players need to take a breather from grueling practices. Sometimes a team just needs a relaxing way to bond instead of grinding on the practice field. Kevin Sumlin gave his Texas A&M Aggies a nice little break on Thursday.

Sumlin gathered the players around and surprised the Aggies with a trip to the movies. The reaction of the players was nothing short of joy.

So, what movie did the Aggies see? I just saw “Guardians of the Galaxy” last weekend and enjoyed it, but word is the team went to see the new comedy “Let’s Be Cops.”

He reminds me of Mack Brown. Can recruit well but is also soft on his kids. Let’s hope that’s the Mack circa 2002-2009, not the 2010-2013 version.

Does the NCAA have a rule on extra butter? We might be down a few starters on the line if so….
