It remains to be seen whether or not Braxton Miller will stay at Ohio State for his senior season. What we do know, apparently, is the identity of one of the places to which the quarterback could potentially transfer if that’s the route he takes this offseason.
Over the weekend, it was reported that Miller has some interest in transferring to Duke. However, it’s another school from the ACC that will likely peg the interest meter to a much greater degree.

Well, that certainly has the potential to be an interesting development.
As Miller would be a graduate transfer -- again, that’s if he decided to transfer -- he would be eligible to play for the Seminoles, or any other FBS program for that matter, immediately in 2015. With Jameis Winston likely leaving FSU for early entry into the NFL draft, the ‘Noles would likely be searching for a new starting quarterback.
Miller was the two-time Big Ten Offensive Player of the Year prior to suffering a season-ending should injury -- or re-injury -- during summer camp this past August. His replacement, J.T. Barrett, went 11-1 and was in the Heisman discussion prior to suffering his own season-ending injury in the finale against Michigan. Barrett’s replacement, Cardale Jones, was impressive in OSU’s blowout win over Wisconsin in the Big Ten championship game and will quarterback the Buckeyes in Friday’s national semifinal matchup with Alabama in the Sugar Bowl.
Prior to the redshirt freshman Barrett’s injury, there was already talk that Miller may have been Wally Pipp’d. With the redshirt sophomore Jones’ emergence, albeit for a single game thus far, the popular assumption was that at least one of the three would transfer out at some point before the 2015 regular season kicks off.
In addition to FSU and Duke, Miller has been connected to Oregon if he decides to be one of those three.
