After the past couple of weeks, there has been speculation that Kevin Hogan was not especially happy at Stanford. As the rumors went, the quarterback would look to transfer -- Michigan was mentioned as a possibility -- or possibly even make himself available for the NFL draft.
It doesn’t appear, though, that either of those will come to fruition.
On the same day as the deadline for eligible players to declare their draft intentions, it appears Hogan’s intention is to stay with the Cardinal and continue his collegiate playing career on The Farm. From the player’s Twitter account:
Ready to get back to work on the farm for the 2015 season

Hogan has spent the past two-and-a-half seasons as Stanford’s starter, guiding the Cardinal to a 24-8 mark in that span. While Hogan has put up respectable numbers statistically, he also had the misfortune of replacing a living legend, Andrew Luck.
A lot of the criticism directed at Hogan is viewed through the legacy left behind by Luck, certainly playing a role in the speculation and any discontent the player may have been feeling.
