Mud-rubber taking his leave of Colorado

A player more known for his actions off the field than his performance on it has decided a change of scenery is in order.

The Boulder Daily Camera reported Wednesday that Terrence Crowder has decided to transfer out of the Buffaloes football program. No reason was given for his decision.

According to the Daily Camera, Crowder is looking to transfer to a school that plays at either the FCS or Div. II level. If that’s the running back’s ultimate destination, he would be eligible to play immediately as a redshirt junior.

He would then have two years of eligibility remaining.

Crowder, a two-star member of the Buffs’ 2012 recruiting class, did not record a carry during his three years at the school. In September of 2013, Crowder was charged with charged with domestic violence, third-degree assault and harassment following an incident in it was alleged he, among other things, rubbed mud in and pulled the hair of his girlfriend.

He was temporarily dismissed from the team before being permitted to return.
