Equanimeous St. Brown speaks three languages and will play receiver at Notre Dame too

Over the recent years we have come to see many unique announcements on National Signing Day, but when was the last time one recruit took to the national airwaves and showed off his multilingual skills? Equanimeous St. Brown did just while declaring for Notre Dame, giving the Irish a four-star wide receiver in the Class of 2015 on Wednesday.

St. Brown first thanked his father for support and training before making his announcement. He followed by thanking his mother in fluent German. As if that was not enough, he finished by giving a shout-out to his friends in French. Yes, he can play some football too.

St. Brown is a four-star recruit according to Rivals. The recruiting service also ranks St. Brown as the 15th best receiver in the nation and the 23rd top player out of California. He is already rightfully considered a solid pick-up for Brian Kelly and the Irish, especially on a day that is seeing USC and UCLA pull impressive classes. To get a star receiver like St. Brown out of California should be considered a solid recruiting victory, and he may even make a push for some playing time right away in South Bend at a position of need for Notre Dame. There is no question Notre Dame is getting an intelligent player in the class with St. Brown, and his work ethic should result in an early impact on the field.

St. Brown did have offers from USC and UCLA, as well as Stanford, Utah and Washington State.
