Maryland video shows off winter workouts

Spring football has started at a few places and will continue to open up around the country in the coming weeks. For those not yet in spring football practices just yet, it is all about winter conditioning and workouts. For those hoping to win a conference championship in 2015, the work begins now to get bigger, stronger and in shape for the upcoming football season? Offseason? No such thing!

Maryland’s football players are among those getting to work this winter. It may be cold outside but the Terps are heating up inside lifting weights and grinding to be better in year two as a member of the Big Ten. Maryland performed better than most expected in their debut season in the new conference home, but the difference between Maryland and programs like Ohio State, Wisconsin and Michigan State were pretty significant. Maryland lost games to those three top Big Ten programs by a combined score of 141-46. But hey, at least Maryland won games at Penn State and Michigan. In most seasons that would be pretty darn good.

Let’s check in and see how Maryland is going to work this winter...
