NCAA violations lead to suspension of UCLA assistant Adrian Klemm

While details are scant at the moment, an assistant at a Pac-12 school has stepped into some NCAA hot water.

In a statement released early Monday afternoon, UCLA announced that Adrian Klemm has been “placed on suspension with pay” after the school “was recently made aware of alleged NCAA rules violations involving” the offensive line coach. According to the statement, the school “immediately reported this information to the NCAA and to the Pac-12 Conference.”

Again, what rule or rules Klemm, one of the top recruiters in the conference, allegedly violated to bring about the suspension were not detailed.

“UCLA will continue to work jointly and cooperate fully with the NCAA while this matter is being reviewed and, to protect the integrity of the process, will have no further comment on the matter,” the statement concluded.

Klemm joined Jim Mora‘s Bruins staff in December of 2011. In addition to his line duties, he’s also the running-game coordinator. In February of 2014, he was promoted to Associate Head Coach.
