Maryland running backs coach Terry Richardson is about to have some extra space in his meeting room.
According to Daniel Martin of CSNBaltimore.com, Maryland running back Jacquille Veii has been granted his release and intends to transfer. This comes shortly on the heels of Albert Reid‘s decision to leave the program just a handful of days ago.
Veii rushed 19 times for 105 yards and two touchdowns a year ago. He also spent time at slot receiver, nabbing 16 passes for 230 yards.
Veii’s departure means junior Wes Brown, senior Brandon Ross and freshman Ty Johnson will split the load for the Terps in 2015.
