Two LSU players not enrolled in summer classes

A day after LSU saw four football players arrested for one reason or another, there is some less disturbing news to report. Although, it is not exactly great news for the Tigers.

According to Ross Dellenger of The Advocate, who has been rather busy this week with LSU football news the past couple of days, defensive end Arden Key and defensive back Jeremy Cutrer are not enrolled in LSU’s summer classes.

Key was a four-star recruit in LSU’s Class of 2015 out of Atlanta. Rivals ranked Key as the 13th best defensive end in the nation and the 23rd top player overall out of the state of Georgia. Key committed to the LSU program two days before National Signing Day, picking LSU over offers from South Carolina, where he had on two previous occasions been committed.

Cutrer is a JUCO transfer from Mississippi Gulf Coast Community College. He is still expected to enroll in classes at LSU, but will not be doing so until later in the summer according to The Advocate.
