Bret Bielema gave Texas some ‘erotic’ bulletin-board material

Leave it to Bret Bielema to give a former opponent some rather “unique” material for their bulletin board.

As you may very well remember, Arkansas embarrassed Texas last postseason, easily dropping the Longhorns to the tune of 31-7 beating in the Advocare V100 Texas Bowl. The limp UT offense was limited to a paltry 59 yards, with the Hogs adding insult to injury by showing some mercy and kneeling down at game’s end.

At last week’s SEC Media Days, Bielema described the kneel-down that took place near the Longhorns’ goal line as “borderline erotic.” At the Big 12’s version of Media Days, UT head coach Charlie Strong was asked if was aware of Bielema’s rather sultry description.

Suffice to say, the entire football team is.

If this is something Strong, who acknowledged that his 6-7 record during his first season in Austin is completely unacceptable, feels he needs to do to motivate a talented but underachieving team, have at it. Whether he’s still the Longhorns’ head coach when Texas is scheduled to play Arkansas in 2021, though, is another matter entirely.
