Ohio State QB Cardale Jones takes a two-week break from Twitter, chasing Ronda Rousey

With Ohio State beginning preseason camp -- and a high-stakes quarterback competition -- on Monday, Cardale Jones is taking a break from running one of the better player Twitter accounts in college football. So if anyone out there is trying to snag a date with Ronda Rousey by tweeting at the UFC star, now’s your chance.

Jones tweeted Sunday night he’ll stay off Twitter for the time being:

✌🏾️ Twitter, catch yall in two weeks ✊🏾

— Cardale Jones (@CJ12_) August 10, 2015

It looks like Jones wants to have a distraction-free start to practice, which means he’s going to have to put his social media chasing of Rousey on hold. Maybe there’s a stipulation that he’ll end his self-imposed Twitter silence if Rousey tweets back at him?
