This is certainly an interesting development, considering both the timing and the individual involved.
Pete Thamel of SI.com reported Monday afternoon that Bo Graham (pictured, left) has stepped down from his position as the running backs coach at Arizona State. Doug Haller of the Arizona Republic subsequently confirmed the initial report, adding that the decision to step down less than two weeks before the start of a new season was triggered by personal reasons.
Graham is the son of Sun Devils head coach Todd Graham. As for any speculation on the reasoning behind the abrupt resignation...
I'm told that Bo Graham's resignation wasn't due to any legal matter or NCAA violation. He was at practice this past Saturday, but not today

The younger Graham would’ve been entering his third season as a part of his father’s ASU coaching staff and his fourth season overall at the school, with the first coming as on-campus recruiting coordinator. He was also on his father’s staff at Pittsburgh as head graduate assistant coach and assistant wide receivers coach.
It’s highly likely, given the timing, ASU will look within the program for a temporary replacement before searching for a permanent one at season’s end.
