Suffice to say, it’s been a rough last few months for Steve Sarkisian both personally and professionally.
From an offseason divorce to an alcohol-fueled embarrassment at an official USC function to his dismissal triggered by his alleged drinking problems to finding out about his dismissal via text messages/email, Sarkisian has seemingly hit rock-bottom in about the most public way possible. There has, though, been an outpouring of concern for the head coach, who has reportedly already entered a treatment facility outside of the state of California.
That outpouring hasn’t gone unnoticed by Sarkisian, who sent a couple of messages out Wednesday night on his personal Twitter account.
I would like to thank everyone for their huge outpouring of support and well wishes.

I wish my Trojans the best against Notre Dame and for the remainder of the season. No one will be cheering them on more than me. Fight On!

Here’s to hoping the 41-year-old Sarkisian can get whatever personal demons he has under control so that, first and foremost, he can be the kind of father he wants to be to his kids. And, yes, hopefully he can return to the coaching game as well.
