Call it convenient if you’d like, but Texas A&M has nonetheless announced a pair of suspensions for its scrimmage, errr, non-conference finale later on today.
A&M announced a short time ago that wide receivers Speedy Noil and Josh Reynolds have been suspended for this evening’s game against FCS Western Carolina (6-3) in College Station. Not surprisingly, the only reason given was an unspecified violation of team rules.
Reynolds is currently tied for the team lead with four receiving touchdowns and second in receiving yards with 555. His 32 receptions are third on the Aggies.
Noil has 14 receptions for 125 yards on the season. In April of this year, Noil took some time off to “take care of some things.”
Earlier this year, the Catamounts lost 55-10 to Tennessee in Knoxville.
