Ohio State not only lost a game Saturday night that seemingly crushed any hopes of a College Football Playoff title, but it appears they’re also losing the quarterback who helped lift them to last season’s national championship.
Shortly after the Buckeyes were stunned on a field goal by Michigan State with no time left on the clock, Cardale Jones, the starting quarterback most of the season before he was benched in favor of J.T. Barrett, took to Twitter to seemingly announce his future plans. And it looks like that future won’t include being in a Buckeyes uniform next season.
Last time walking down them steps and into The Shoe, wish the results were different tho pic.twitter.com/BalXhHTOS7

OSU closes out the 2015 regular season in Ann Arbor against Michigan.
Whether Jones is referring to transferring to another program for his final season of eligibility or leaving that eligibility on the table and making himself available for the 2016 NFL draft, it seems as if his OSU career will indeed come to an end at the end of the 2015 season.
