Ole Miss signee’s announcement prop? Skydiving

Memo to future recruits: go ahead and just stop planning right now. Deontay Anderson has all but won the announcement game for all eternity -- or until next year, when a recruit picks from three hats placed strategically throughout the International Space Station.

Anderson is one of 200-plus 2016 recruits who came into National Signing Day with a four-star rating. So, how does the No. 84 player in the Class of 2016 make himself stand out from that star-studded crowd.

With the help of Bleacher Report, Anderson took to the skies for one of the more unique announcement approaches you’ve seen. Or will ever see, for that matter.

Anderson has the recruiting hype to match the showmanship as he’s listed as the No. 3 safety in the country and the No. 10 player at any position in the state of Texas. The 6-1, 205-pound defensive back opted for Ole Miss over, among others, LSU and Texas, which equals one of the rare losses on the day for the latter.
