Jake Raulerson isn’t the only offensive lineman with that particular surname on the move this summer.
Ray Raulerson (no relation) has transferred from Tennessee to West Virginia, the Mountaineers announced Friday. Raulerson will have to sit out the 2016 season but becomes eligible to play in ’17.
A consensus three-star recruit, Raulerson signed with Tennessee out of Plant High School in Tampa. The 6-foot-4, 287-pound offensive lineman redshirted in 2014 and appeared in five games as a Volunteer in 2015. His final game as a Vol, coincidentally, came in his hometown of Tampa as Tennessee wiped Northwestern away in the Outback Bowl.
Raulerson will have two years of eligibility remaining after sitting out the 2016 season.
