Four-star RB uses Lamborghini in committing to Florida State

One touted member of the Class of 2017 knows how to make an entrance. A very, very expensive entrance.

Khalan Laborn is one of the most talented recruits in next year’s class, rated as the No. 2 all-purpose back in the country and the No. 1 player at any position in the state of Virginia. Overall, 247Sports.com has the four-star back rated No. 38 on its composite board. So, yeah, he’s good. And a bit flamboyant.

At Nike’s The Opening event in Oregon late this past week, Laborn announced that he would be committing to Florida State. That was not really a surprise. How he arrived to make the commitment, though, was the talk of the recruiting circuit.

The car 4-star RB Khalan Laborn got out of when he committed to Florida State... Can we call him Khalan Lambo? pic.twitter.com/gGuuTHgEDf

Yes, that’s a Lamborghini decked out in FSU decals, albeit temporary ones. And, for those who are curious, the six-figure set of wheels is a rental.

And, nope, I have no clue what Laborn’s parents/guardians do for a living or how a teenager can afford such a rental so don’t even bother asking.
