Michigan unveils new ‘Jumpman’ uniforms

This is what all of the fuss and buildup has been about.

Last month, Michigan announced that Michael Jordan would serve as the honorary captain for the Wolverines’ 2016 season opener. Tuesday, UM unveiled its new line of Jumpman” brand uniforms the football program will wear this season.

That brand, of course, is a Jordan-related division of Nike, inspired by the NBA Hall of Famer and former North Carolina Tar Heel great. And it’s also a brand that’s very appealing to teenagers in general and recruits specifically, hence the excitement surrounding the unveil.

Speaking of which, here are some photos of the uniforms, with the “Jumpman 23" logo prominently displayed on the front. they are the first football programs, incidentally, with that distinctive logo.

The future begins today.
