Georgia’s lead held until Mitch Turbisky snuck in for a one-yard score at the 13:13 mark of the second quarter, but the Bulldogs see-sawed ahead when Brian Herrien raced in for a 19-yard touchdown at the 6:22 mark.
North Carolina finished the scoring with a 22-yard Nick Weiler boot 11 seconds before the halftime gun.
Freshman phenom Jacob Eason did not start at quarterback for Georgia but has traded series with Greyson Lambert. He’s 2-for-3 for 36 yards, while Lambert nailed 2-of-4 throws for 31 yards. For the Heels, Trubisky is 11-of-20 for 70 yards.
