Houston quarterback Greg Ward, Jr., underwent an MRI Sunday on his throwing shoulder, investigating an issue that arose the day after the No. 15 Cougars’ 33-23 opening day win over No. 3 Oklahoma.
“It’s just very sore the next day,” Herman told the Houston Chronicle Sunday, noting the staff thought it was a muscular issue.
Word came back Monday that all was clear with the Cougars’ franchise shoulder.
Tom Herman said Houston QB Greg Ward Jr.'s MRI showed no structural damage in throwing shoulder. Ward expected back by Wednesday practice.
