Oklahoma State isn’t the only entity to see a personal cost to the botched ending that saw Central Michigan escape Stillwater with a 30-27 win.
The Big 12 and MAC have separately -- but nearly concurrently -- announced two-game suspensions for the officiating and replay crews that oversaw the debacle. The officiating crew hailed from the MAC, while the Big 12 operated the replay booth.

In addition to losing their meal money, the Big 12 is sending its crew to bed without dinner.
Note from Big 12's 2-game suspension of replay crew: they also won't get a bowl trip.

Official Tim O’Day admitted his crew’s error almost immediately after Central Michigan was allowed to complete an untimed down that never should have happened:
With the 30-27 result officially on the books, Mike Gundy has stated his team will but the game to bed and move forward to Week 3. The zebras who worked the game will have to wait two week until they can do the same.
