Ole Miss QB Chad Kelly restrained after getting involved in high school brawl

Ole Miss football is off this weekend prior to next Saturday’s SEC West showdown with Arkansas. Most teams on byes give their players a little time off from the grind of the season when there’s no game that week and it appears Rebels quarterback Chad Kelly took that opportunity to travel back to his hometown of Buffalo.

According to reports from Upstate New York however, the signal-caller got involved in a local high school game involving his younger brother Casey and apparently had to be restrained following an on-field scuffle.

HUGE brawl just now at Timon/Joes. Casey Kelly hit late out of bounds, benches clear… Chad Kelly ran onto field and had to be restrained.

Ole Miss has not commented on the matter but you can expect head coach Hugh Freeze is none to happy at the reports involving his team’s starting quarterback.
