WATCH: Plane with banner mocking Lane Kiffin’s hand size flies over Knoxville

He’s been gone quite a while but he’s far from been forgotten.

Lane Kiffin was the head coach at Tennessee for one season in 2009 before abruptly jilting Rocky Top for the same job at USC. Saturday, the Alabama offensive coordinator will make his second trip to Neyland Stadium since as the Tide renews its annual rivalry with the Vols in Knoxville.

Ahead of Kiffin’s return, some enterprising individuals have taken to having a plane fly a banner over the city alleging that the former Vols coach has, ahem, “small hands” -- and just ask his wife for verification.

Al.com explains the individuals purportedly behind the banner:

The web address at the end of the message re-directs to the website for Warren & Griffin, Attorneys at Law. The firm has offices in Chattanooga, Tenn., Dalton, Ga., and Rome, Ga.

While Vols Nation seemingly hasn’t forgotten -- or forgiven -- Kiffin, the coach can say the same. In early August, Kiffin tweaked the Vols on Twitter over an article about the state of Tennessee being loaded with top-level recruits but that they’re leaving for other states.
