It was real and spectacular when Cal announced it back in July. Now that it’s finally here, it’s even more real and more spectacular.
The “it” is Marshawn Lynch Bobblehead Night at Cal, with the football program commemorating the former Golden Bears running back’s famed ride on a medical cart following an overtime win over Washington in 2006. A win, it should be noted, that was secured by Lynch’s 22-yard touchdown run.

In-game things likely might not go well on the field -- Cal is facing fifth-ranked Washington after all -- but, on the field during the pregame, it went about as spectacularly as it could get.
As for the original? Yep, it’s worth another look.
