Big Ten lands three in AP top 5 for first time in 50 years

The Big Ten has earned a air of respect from the Associated Press Top 25 voters usually reserved for the SEC.

Jim Delany‘s conference registered three of the top five slots in this week’s poll -- No. 2 Ohio State, No. 3 Michigan and, after Louisville’s slaughter at Houston, No. 5 Wisconsin.

Alabama, of course, retained the top spot.
