WATCH: Notre Dame DL Jerry Tillery’s shameful display in stomping one USC player, kicking another that was injured

When it comes to class, Jerry Tillery apparently left his back in South Bend.

On at least two occasions in the fourth quarter of the Notre Dame-USC game, Tillery made contact with Trojan players who were laying on the ground, one of whom was injured. At bare minimum, the first one was decidedly on purpose, reckless, shameful and dangerous.

The second you might be able to make an argument over, albeit an extremely weak one -- especially when the Trojan was down with a suspected head injury.

Seems like the wrong thing to do in that situation. pic.twitter.com/dBlKfqLdUb

If there’s any good news to come out of this unsportsmanlike situation it’s that Tillery had his ass deservedly chewed out by head coach Brian Kelly following the second incident.

That first one, though, goes beyond the pale. What if any repercussions the sophomore defensive lineman, who was suspended for the Irish’s bowl game last season, will face is unclear.
