4/22/2012 — Marshall running back Martin Ward, defensive back Philip Warren, cornerback Corie Wilson and linebacker Stefone Grace were arrested on the following charges: Ward with disorderly conduct; Warren with battery on police, disorderly conduct and obstructing an officer; Wilson with obstructing an officer and fleeing on foot; and Grace with disorderly conduct and obstructing an officer.

7/10/2011 — Arkansas offensive lineman Anthony Oden charged with (take a deep breathdriving while intoxicated, possession of a controlled substance, driving left of the center line, failing to yield to an emergency vehicle, no proof of ownership, driving on a suspended/revoked driver’s license and no driver’s license.  He was dismissed from the football program.

7/6/2011 — Maryland offensive lineman Justin Lewis was charged with second-degree battery.  He has been dismissed from the football program.

5/25/2011 — Toledo defensive end Damien McIntosh was charged with felonious assault.

5/17/2011 — Auburn running back Onterio McCalebb charged with driving an unregistered vehicle and failing to produce a valid driver’s license.

5/15/2011 — Oregon State defensive tackle Castro Masaniai charged with second-degree kidnapping, coercion, disorderly conduct, harassment and second-degree criminal mischief.  Suffice to say, he’s been suspended indefinitely.

5/13/2011 — Ole Miss linebacker Clarence Jackson charged with public drunkenness.  He was suspended indefinitely by head coach Houston Nutt.

5/13/2011 —  Ole Miss defensive lineman Delvin Jones charged with public drunkenness.  He was suspended indefinitely by head coach Houston Nutt.

5/8/2011 — Michigan wide receiver Darryl Stonum charged with second-offense driving under the influence.  He has been indefinitely suspended.

5/5/2011 — BYU wide receiver Cody Hoffman arrested on a failure-to-appear warrant.

5/4/2011 — Miami defensive tackle Jeffrey Brown charged with sexual battery.  He was suspended by the football program.

5/2/2011 — Oklahoma defensive tackle Marquis Anderson charged with petty larceny.

5/2/2011 — Oregon linebacker Kiko Alonso charged with burglary, criminal trespass and criminal mischief.  He was indefinitely suspended following the arrest.

4/28/2011 — Michigan State defensive end Corey Freeman charged with driving with a suspended license and failing to disclose to an officer that he was carrying a concealed weapon.  He was suspended for the Spartans’ spring game.

4/26/2011 — Illinois running back Jason Ford charged with driving on a suspended license and going 1-10 miles over the speed limit.

4/24/2011 — Florida defensive end Chris Martin and linebacker Kedric Johnson charged with possession of less than 20 grams of marijuana.

4/23/2011 — Florida cornerback Janoris Jenkins charged with possession of less than 20 grams of marijuana.  He was subsequently dismissed from the UF football program.

4/22/2011 — Rice defensive end Cody Bauer and offensive lineman Cade Shawwere arrested on a felony charge each of possession of a firearm.

4/22/2011 — Rice cornerbacks Kevin Gaddis and Phillip Gaines were hit with misdemeanor charges – the former for theft of property valued between $50 and $500 and possession of two ounces or less of marijuana, the latter for the same possession charge

4/20/2011 – Kent State safety Zachary Gonosz was charged with underage drinking, displaying a fake I.D. and assault.  He was suspended indefinitely following the arrest.

4/20/2011 — Duke linebacker Tyree Glover charged with trafficking in cocaine and possession of marijuana and cocaine with the intent to sell and deliver. He was dismissed for what the school described as conduct unbecoming a member of the football program.

4/18/2011 — Oregon quarterback Dustin Haines was charged with excessive noise, interfering with a police officer and resisting arrest.  He was suspended indefinitely following the arrest.

4/15/2011 — Arkansas linebacker Ross Rasner was charged with possession of a controlled substance and being a minor in possession of alcohol.  As a result of the charges, the junior will be held out of the Razorbacks’ spring game.

4/14/2011 — Boise State defensive tackle Josh Nisby was charged with misdemeanor battery.  He has been dismissed from the football program by head coach Chris Petersen.

4/8/2011 — Louisiana Tech defensive endIK Enemkpali was charged with disturbing the peace and battery of a police officer.  He was suspended indefinitely by head coach Sonny Dykes.

4/5/2011 — Marshall defensive back Brian Robinson was charged with domestic battery and carrying a concealed weapon.  He was dismissed from the football program on the same day of his arrest.

3/30/2011 — Penn State wide receiver Curtis Drake was cited for disorderly conduct.

3/30/2011 — Penn State defensive back Derrick Thomas was cited for disorderly conduct.

3/24/2011 — Virginia Tech wide receiver Xavier Boyce charged with child endangerment.  He was indefinitely suspended.

3/22/2011 — Miami linebacker Ramon Buchanan charged with two felonies – resisting a police officer with violence and battery on a police officer, firefighter or emergency medical care provider — and three misdemeanors – trespassing, disorderly conduct and resisting arrest without violence.  He was suspended indefinitely by head coach Al Golden.

3/21/2011 — Notre Dame wide receiver Michael Floyd was charged with driving under the influence.

3/20/2011 — Alabama safety Mark Barron was charged with second-degree hindering prosecution.

3/18/2011 — Washington wide receiver Jordan Polk was charged with “a domestic-violence crime“.  He has been dismissed from the football program by head coach Steve Sarkisian.

3/11/2011 — Auburn  junior defensive back Mike McNeil, freshman wide receiver Shaun Kitchens, freshman wide receiver Antonio Goodwinand freshman tight end Dakota Mosley were each charged with five counts of first-degree robbery, one count of burglary in the first degree and one count of theft of property in the first degree.  All four have been dismissed.

3/11/2011 — Michigan State linebacker Max Bullough was charged with a minor in possession of alcohol and eluding police.

3/11/2011 — Michigan State tight end tight end Brian Linthicum was charged with misdemeanor third-degree assault and eluding police.

3/5/2011 — Iowa State defensive end Jake Lattimer was charged with assault on a peace officer and interference with official acts.  He was suspended indefinitely by head coach Paul Rhoads.

3/5/2011 — Iowa State tight end Ricky Howard was charged with operating a vehicle while intoxicated.  He was suspended indefinitely by head coach Paul Rhoads.

3/3/2011 — Washington running back Johri Fogerson charged with resisting arrest and possession of less than 40 grams of marijuana.

3/2/2011 — Washington State linebacker Louis Bland charged with second-degree assault.  He was suspended indefinitely by head coach Paul Wulff.

3/2/2011 — Auburn running back Eric Smith was charged with third-degree domestic violence.  He was dismissed from the football program.

2/15/2011 — Florida State running back Jermaine Thomas was charged with driving with a suspended license.

2/13/2011 — Tennessee safety Brent Brewer was arrested on domestic assault charges and indefinitely suspended by head coach Derek Dooley.

2/12/2011 — Washington State cornerback Tracy Clark arrested for theft of a laptop.  He was indefinitely suspended by head coach Paul Wulff following the arrest.

2/8/2011 — Florida State running back Jermaine Thomas was charged with a nonmoving traffic violation while driving with a suspended license.

2/8/2011 — Kansas wide receiver Chris Omigie was charged with suspicion of operating a vehicle under the influence of alcohol.

2/3/2011 — North Carolina running back A.J. Blue was charged with driving while impaired, driving with an open container of alcohol, and failing to maintain lane control.

2/1/2011 — Nebraska walk-on defensive tackle Justin Jackson was ticketed for suspicion of driving under the influence of alcohol, minor consumption and negligent driving.

2/1/2011 — Iowa State linebacker Matt Tau’fo’ou was charged with a drunk driving offense.  He was suspended indefinitely.

1/31/2011 — Missouri defensive tackle Jimmy Burge was charged with misdemeanor possession of a controlled substance.

1/30/2011 — Arkansas wide receiver Lance Ray was charged with misdemeanor possession of a controlled substance and minor in possession of alcohol.

1/29/2011 — Arizona State safety Ramon Abreu was charged with felony sexual conduct with a minor.  He was indefinitely suspended by the program.

1/28/2011 — Louisville players and twins Jacob and Isaac Geffrad were each charged with one count of first-degree assault for beating down a teammate back In October.  They have subsequently been dismissed from the football program.

1/24/2011 — Florida cornerback Janoris Jenkins was arrested for possession of marijuana.

1/23/2011 – Oklahoma wide receiver Kenny Stills was arrested for misdemeanor driving under the influence, while starting safety Tony Jefferson was arrested  for interference with the official process.

1/18/2011 — UConn running back Lyle McCombs was arrested on charges of possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia.  The true freshman was suspended indefinitely by new head coach Paul Pasqualoni.

1/11/2011 — Clemson offensive tackle Brandon Thomas was arrested on a disorderly conduct charge.

12/31/2010 — Pittsburgh head coach Michael Haywood was arrested on domestic battery charges.  The school issued a statement on his situation saying, basically, nothing.  Haywood was ultimately fired.

12/25/2010 — Alabama JUCO signee Aaron Douglas was arrested on a charge of driving under the influence.

12/20/2010 — Nebraska safety Rickey Thenarse was arrested on charges of driving under the influence, driving with a suspended license and impeding traffic.  He was suspended for the Holiday bow by head coach Bo Pelini.

12/15/2010 — Memphis quarterback Cannon Smith arrested on charges of public intoxication and disorderly conduct.

12/12/2010 — Syracuse linebacker Malcolm Cater charged with four felonies – three counts of burglary, one count of grand larceny — and two misdemeanors – two counts of petit larceny — for a string of break-ins.  He was dismissed from the football program by head coach Doug Marrone.

12/10/2010 — Kentucky quarterback Mike Hartline charged with second-degree disorderly conduct, alcohol intoxication in a public place and failure to notify the department of transportation of an address change.

12/9/2010 — Nebraska defensive tackle Baker Steinkuhler charged with suspicion of driving under the influence.  Head coach Bo Pelini suspended the sophomore for the Cornhuskers’ Holiday Bowl game against Washington.

12/8/2010 — UConn offensive lineman Greg McKee has been has been charged with importing child pornography, obscenity and promoting a minor in an obscene performance.  He was suspended indefinitely by head coach Randy Edsall.

12/7/2010 — Iowa wide receiver Derrell Johnson-Koulianos was arrested on multiple counts of possession of controlled substances, keeping a drug house and two counts of unlawful possession of a prescription drugs.  He was suspended indefinitely by head coach Kirk Ferentz.

12/4/2010 — Louisville cornerback Darius Ashley arrested on an operating a motor vehicle under the influence and under 21 years old charge.

12/1/2010 — Ole Miss wide receiver Melvin Harris arrested on a driving under the influence charge.  The sophomore was suspended for the Egg Bowl as a result of the arrest.

11/21/2010 — Tennessee walk-on quarterback Doak Raulston arrested on a charge of driving under the influence.

11/17/2010 — Penn State defensive end Sean Stanley cited for disorderly conduct after getting caught, you guessed it, peeing in public.  It was a separate urination charge from Redd’s.  As an aside, will State College be getting indoor plumbing at any point in the near future?

11/16/2010 — Penn State running back Silas Redd relieves himself in public at 4:13 a.m. ET, cited for disorderly conduct.

11/15/2010 — Illinois linebacker Evan Frierson is arrested on a charge of aggravated battery.  A day after the felony arrest became public knowledge, Frierson was dismissed from the Illini football program.
