Ducks Kicker Transferring

To show exactly how mired we are in the ssslllooowww news cycle of the offseason, we are proud to offer you a story about a kicker transferring.

According to Oregon’s official website, the school has released placekicker Daniel Padilla from his scholarship, freeing the redshirt sophomore to “explore playing opportunities elsewhere”.

In 2007, Padilla made 3-of-4 field goals as a true freshman.

Padilla redshirted last season, and watched as Matt Evensen and Morgan Flint combined to make 18 of their 27 FG attempts.

Flint is expected to carry the majority of the kicking duties this season, although incoming freshman Mike Bowlin could contribute as well.

Now, could we have another congressional hearing, or maybe stick a microphone in Lane Kiffin‘s face or something? A kicker? Oy vey...
