Oklahoma State will be without the services of redshirt freshman running back Kye Staley due to a torn ACL, multiple sources have confirmed to the Daily Oklahoman.
Staley injured his right knee during a scrimmage yesterday.
Head coach Mike Gundy was not available for comment, the paper reported.
The injury is unfortunate for the player as he’s been impressive throughout the offseason and into summer camp. Staley lost weight -- down to 214 pounds from a high of 241 -- and had been gaining the confidence of the coaching staff on an almost daily basis.
