With back-to-back selections to the All-SEC first team to his credit, Eric Norwood is a player South Carolina can ill afford to lose.
Although he’s slowed by a wrist injury -- he’s wearing a non-contact jersey during practice -- it’s not anything deemed serious at this point in time.
In fact, the linebacker should be able to resume full contact at some point in the middle of next week.
“It’s part of the game,” Norwood said. “If we had (North Carolina State) on Saturday... I’d be playing.”
Norwood is four sacks away from setting the school’s all-time record.
