Yet another Nippany Lion popped for DUI

As we go away -- for a little bit -- from the LeGarrette Blount on-field douchiness, we head straight toward some off-field douchiness from a member of the Penn State football program.

According to the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette, linebacker Mike Zordich was arrested for driving under the influence very early Sunday morning.

PSU police had pulled Zordich over after they noticed he was driving without his headlights on. At that point in time it was 3:25 a.m.

Zordich submitted to a breathalyzer test and blew a .19. The legal limit is .08; for anyone under the legal drinking age it’s .02. Zordich is 19.

The redshirt freshman was listed third on Penn State’s depth chart at middle linebacker.

It’s uncertain what type of punishment Joe Paterno will mete out for the latest off-the-field incident involving one of his players.

Zordich is at least the third Nittany Lion to be arrested for DUI this year.
