Earlier this week, Florida head coach Urban Meyer said that as long as linebacker Dustin Doe and cornerback Janoris Jenkins “had a good week of practice” they would be eligible to return this weekend.
That’s apparently happened as the Tampa Tribune is reporting that both players are eligible and expected to play against Troy.
Both players sat out last weekend’s win over Charleston Southern due to off-the-field incidents this past offseason.
Of course, their return will do little to affect the outcome of tomorrow’s game, but it will at least give the duo a chance to see some live football fire -- especially Jenkins, a starter -- before their much-anticipated match-up with Tennessee in the Swamp the following weekend.
